Scope of use and application
Rubber Solvent is designed for washing parts and removing preservative coatings. It is used for industrial and technical purposes (washing, degreasing).
Toxicity and handling requirements
Use appropriate PPE when working with Rubber solvent S4-50/170: leather shoes, cotton coveralls, gloves, goggles. Rinse the affected area with plenty of water in case of contact with eyes or skin, if necessary, consult a doctor.
Open flames are prohibited in areas of application and storage of the solvent. Artificial lighting devices must be explosion-proof. Barrels and tanks with the rubber solvent S4-50/170 can only be opened with tools that eliminate the risk of sparks on impact. It is best to use tools made of non-ferrous metals or with a copper coating for opening. Do not pump or drain the solvent with compressed air. The product is disposed of by distillation if the contaminants are capable of decomposition at the process temperature.
Packaging and storage
The product is packed in sealed container as per GOST 1510-84. Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacturing. Transportation of the solvent in drums, railway tanks, fuel trucks is allowed in accordance with the requirements of industry safety regulations.
